HOPE & EXPECTATIONS

jaartal: 2004
lengte: 7:25

logline:
The wintry landscape appears lifeless, but the seeds lies waiting all around us, waiting for a chance, an opportunity.

synopsis:
The courgettes, bolted in their growth during the summer, are semi-decayed. Frozen decomposition, but the seeds from inside are everywhere. The hardened flower stems of the runners have been thrown onto a heap. The seeds have fallen on the ground and have germinated. The first tiny plantlets, far too green, are exposed to the winter cold. Seed is nothing but hope and expectation. An aversion of death. A landscape seemingly dead.
